    The Pretender Gone

You may have noticed that the front page is missing Upcoming Episodes for The Pretender. Why is this? Because TNT dropped The Pretender from it’s lineup. Why didn’t we expect this? Since The Pretender was on NBC, Jarod and company has been fighting a never-ending battle to stay on the air and it happened again.

    What should we do?
The only thing we can. Start writing TNT emails and letters. You can email TNT at tnt@turner.com or write them at:

    TNT
    1050 Techwood Drive NW
    Atlanta, GA 30318

Please do NOT be cruel. Make it something witty or extremely nice. Don’t make them mad simply show them that we are watching and we want Jarod back on the TV. Maybe they’ll get the hint.

Soon-to-be real-life “Housewife” Marcia Cross showed off her new rock for the first time, which she received from fiancee Tom Mahoney. “He picked it out all by himself,” Cross told us.

Felicity Huffman and husband William H. Macy spent much of the night arm in arm, and they were happy to talk about their love story. “I’m the luckiest guy in the whole world to be married to her,” Macy told us.

Huffman gave one of the night’s most memorable acceptance speeches after winning the Best Actress in a Comedy Award, proclaiming tearfully, ” I would like to thank the incomparable William H. Macy, for taking a chunky 22-year-old with a bad perm and glasses out into a cow pasture and kissing me and making me his wife.” Read More

TV Bosses Plan Fresh Desperate Housewives Marketing

    • Post published:July 29, 2005

Television bosses at ABC are planning to reprise their famous advertising campaign to promote the second series of Desperate Housewives, but with a new slogan.

To grab attention for the award-winning drama before it hit TV screens last year, dry cleaning bags were distributed bearing the slogan “Everyone has a little dry laundry.” The slogan will now become “New season, new dirty laundry.”

ABC entertainment President Steven McPherson says, “The marketing is a huge obsession of mine and I think it’s a huge obsession of the network. It’s become an incredibly important part of what we do and what our success is.” The multi-award-winning Desperate Housewives finished its first run as the fourth most watched program on television.

I love the Pretender and its cast but I can’t keep up with the continuous news flowing in about Deperate Housewives. Don’t get me wrong. I still care about DH’s (Jamie’s show) success; I just don’t have the time to be adding the amount of information that keeps popping up, and why should I when TV.com (formerly TVTOME.com) does it for me. So I’m linking to them. All important and urgent information will be added but everything else you can click the new links to read.
