Nick Chinlund has landed a recurring role on ABC's hit new drama Desperate Housewives. He will play Detective Sullivan, who is investigating the death of Martha Huber (Christine Estabrook). Chinlund, who has appeared in such features as The Chronicles of Riddick, Training Day, Con Air and Lethal Weapon 3, next appears on the big screen in Legend of Zorro, opposite Antonio Banderas and Catherine Zeta-Jones, and in the futuristic thriller Ultraviolet.

"The network has saved an area [on the schedule] for me when I'm ready to write it," he reveals. "But it's going to take me a couple of seasons before I have the energy-slash-time." Ray has received six Academy Award nominations.You can also look for Patick in an upcoming episode of the new Fox series, House, as Dr. Rowan Chase, the father of of series regular Dr. Robert Chase (Jesse Spencer).
