Lyle is Miss Parker’s twin brother and he was pronounced still born by Mr. Raines who took him from Catherine Parker and gave him up for adoption. The Bowman’s became his foster family and he was soon named Bobby Bowman. The Bowman’s were a strange couple. Bobby’s foster father abused him and would lock him in a shed in the backyard. His foster mother let this happen and believes that she hears dogs barking that are not there.

Bobby wanting out of this home, killed his supposed best friend and framed his foster father for the murder. His foster father Lyle Bowman is still in prison. Bobby Bowman went on the run and is now going by the name Mr. Lyle.

It was discovered that Lyle killed a mail order bride (Che Ling) and other oriental girls. Miss Parker also discovered that Lyle has a tattoo, which indicates that he is a cannibal. He also tortured Jarod when he was at the Centre the summer of 1999.

Lyle has since become a major player in the cover up of his mother’s death/not death/murder. Miss Parker doesn’t trust Lyle any more than he trusts her. Both Lyle and Miss Parker recently discovered, Mr. Raines is their real father.
