We’ve compared a few prices for you and here are the results:

Amazon.com
– $27.99, no tax no shipping
Target.com – $27.99 + shipping – tax?
Overstock.com – $28.29 + shipping – tax?
BestBuy.com – $32.99 + shipping – tax?
Borders.com – $35.99 + shipping – tax?
TVShowsOnDVD.com – $39.98 + shipping – tax?

Target Store may have same price but there will be tax. Probably the
same with Best Buy.

Nothing at Walmart.com but I know it is coming to my Wal-Mart. It could be pretty cheap there but because I didn’t have to pay tax of shipping at Amazon I chose them.

I recommend heading to Amazon to purchase The Pretender Season One on DVD.

This Wednesday, March 16 from 9:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. ET/PT on TV Land, Desperate Housewives will receive the Future Classic Award at the 3rd Annual TV Land Awards.

Also, there will be a hilarious Desperate Housewives skit from classic TV stars:

The women of classic TV proved that desperation doesn’t end at 40, in a parody entitled “Desperate Classic Housewives,” which aired during the show. Wisteria Lane’s newest inhabitants featured Marion Ross of “Happy Days” filling in for Marcia Cross (“Bree Van De Kamp”), Barbara Eden of “I Dream of Jeannie” for Nicolette Sheridan (“Edit Britt”), Charo of “The Love Boat” for Eva Longoria (“Gabrielle Solis”), Joyce DeWitt of “Three’s Company” for Teri Hatcher (“Susan Mayer”) and Shirley Jones of “The Partridge Family” for Felicity Huffman (“Lynette Scavo”). Also starring in the parody were The Beaver himself, Jerry Mathers (“Sexy, Young Gardener”), Don Knotts of “The Andy Griffith Show” & “Three’s Company” (Mary Alice’s husband), “Happy Days'” Tom Bosley (“Rex”) and “Barney Miller’s” Abe Vigoda (Hot Stud Plumber”).

The story of how Marc Cherry’s mother helped inspire him to create Desperate Housewives is by now an “oft-told tale,” as he puts it. Her influence on the hit series, however, didn’t really stop with the pilot script, Cherry told a sold-out auditorium Tuesday night (March 8) at the Museum of Television & Radio’s annual Paley Television Festival.

    A Few Site Changes

You may have already noticed the front page is different. The system I had was crashing the site and the best solution was to have pages open separately. You may have to close a window you’ve open before you can view another.

The other change is the Data Annex tab. It was links to Official sites and other great link. Now it is Archived information for the site. Links are now at the bottom of the front page. As always I will continue to try and improve the site. I’m sorry for all the changes.
